West Quay Road combines places to live and work with a range of social spaces. A contemporary intervention within Poole historic context
The proposed development at West Quay Road in Poole is a residential led regeneration. The project is comprised of two types of residential apartments: Retirement Living and Open Market Apartments. The design strategy is to provide eight buildings with a capacity of up to 600 apartments. The buildings along West Quay Road will create an edge to address the scale and character of the town centre, increasing in height stepping up to the water. The buildings along West Quay Road keep a height profile between six and twelve floors. Buildings along the waterfront will be taller, at ten to thirteen floors in height. Parking will be undercroft and approximately 450 spaces.
