The sensitive transformation and expansion of an existing building into a specialist Dementia Care Nursing Home, improving the quality of life and well-being of its 80 residents with the provision of market leading amenities.
Four phases of design and construction work over a period of five years, has seen the former building transform into an idyllic home for its residents, which now offers lush gardens, expansive bedrooms and a social hub with cinema, community café, hair salon and attached feature aviary.
All existing bedrooms were refurbished across the entire home to enlarge all private spaces and provide each resident with their own en suite and outdoor access. New construction work was sensitively planned and carefully phased to allow operation of the home to continue during refurbishment, with minimal disruption to both residents and relatives.
