We are delighted to announce another promotion from within our team, following a string of announcements earlier this year. Ben Bowley has now been promoted to the position of Director.
Ben has been part of the Leonard Design team for eight years now and has led various projects through to completion including Grosvenor House, Sheffield – the first office building the practice had delivered (which achieved LEED Gold accreditation and was highly commended in the regional BCO awards), Cheshire Oaks Designer outlet expansion, Beeston cinema and the Broad Marsh car park, bus station and library.
During his time at Leonard Design, Ben’s leadership role has evolved within the practice, with Ben taking the lead on training, career planning, Part 3 mentoring and recruitment, as well as co-ordinating the team resourcing across the practice. On a wider business side, Ben monitors project profitability, works up yearly R&D tax claims, took the lead in securing our place in The Wren Mutual, and co-ordinated the production of our latest “Ideas that Excite” Business Plan.
