Environmental Policy Statement
Leonard Design are committed to achieving environmental best practice throughout its business activities, wherever this is practicable.
We recognise that the pursuit of economic growth and a healthy environment must be closely linked and that ecological protection and sustainable development are collective responsibilities in which governments, business, individuals and communities all have a role to play.
Our environmental responsibility program is based upon continuous improvement, consistent with current knowledge. Environmental management continues to be a company priority fully Integrated into our business. We believe sound environmental practice is a key factor demonstrating effective company management. We will seek to educate and train our staff to act in an environmentally responsible manner.
We will conduct internal environmental reviews; the reviews will measure our performance and ensure that we are meeting our policy goals as well as compliance requirements. We will also seek to develop suitable, techniques and services which promote environmental protection, where there is a sound business rationale. We will encourage our customers to consider fully the environmental implications of their businesses and the impact on them of environmental issues.
We recognise that environmental risks should be part of the normal checklist of risk assessment and management. We will encourage our suppliers to pursue best practice; our procurement policy will take account of this.
To support our environmental commitment Leonard Design have developed and maintain an Integrated Management System (IMS) that conforms to the requirements of ISO 9001:2015; ISO 14001:2015; ISO 45001:2018 so that we can provide and maintain a consistently high quality in all work we undertake. Our IMS shall ensure that proper communication, work control and accountable records are generated for all work undertaken.
