Tun Razak Exchange (TRX) is an iconic 70-acre development that is set to become a leading centre for international finance and business. The Exchange TRX is a world-class experiential lifestyle destination that sits at the heart of Tun Razak Exchange.
Leonard Design were appointed to undertake the concept design and planning for the TRX Lifestyle Quarter, a hyperconnected precinct with over 400 retailers, dining, entertainment and lifestyle offers, and a hotel that sits within a 10 acre elevated rooftop public park, a biodiverse community driven space that stiches together the residential and financial parts of TRX.
The site is located to the south east of the traditional city core and commercial district and is surrounded by large thoroughfares. The goal of the development is to create a living breathing ‘organic’ financial centre defined by the overarching concept of integration. This was further realised by the definition of no setback requirements within the development to allow greater integration and coming together of uses, and dynamic connections between buildings and precincts.
