West Quay is a residential-led scheme comprising nine architecturally distinct blocks that would deliver 459 residential units, including retirement and affordable housing. A variety of forms, materiality, and articulation contribute to a place of architectural richness.
New public realm and cafés will re-enliven a waterfront location which is currently inaccessible to the public. The new waterside promenade to be created will carefully weave private residential addresses with public spaces and space for community. A new clubhouse for the Poole Amateur Rowing Club is integrated into the waterside frontage creating a community hub centred around Poole’s oldest sporting institution.
