Redeveloping the existing shopping centre and surrounding context

The refurbishment of Makishes Zentrum begins with the regeneration of the food court and the simplification of the circulation routes. As part of the new works the central piazza will be opened up with a new skylight and internally renovated to include the provision for activation and event spaces. An overall urban street theme defines the materials, furniture and wayfinding to create a modern bohemian vision.
