The Waterside Apartments

Leonard Design Architects were approached to progress and develop a concept which involved the reuse of an existing iconic building situated in a prominent location on the River Trent. In addition to the conversion of the existing building, the scheme also introduced two new build residential towers (North and South) and duplex luxury penthouses. Leonard Design Architects were engaged by the client to deliver RIBA stages 1-4. Planning was secured in May 2018, followed by the issue of tender drawings and subsequent successful award of the building contract to JA Ball in October 2018. Leonard Design Architects were novated across to JA Ball and engaged to deliver RIBA stages 4-6 – full construction co-ordination through to completion.

Leonard Design Architects were also signed up to deliver interior design concept layouts and finishes for all apartment types and communal areas. The build is on programme and due for completion in 2019.
