Leonard Design in the Press: October 2018

Autumn is officially here and summer is over. October has been a very busy month with some great coverage in the press for the projects that Leonard Design are working on.

Recently we announced the competition winning design for the Incheon International Airport landmark sculptur. Commissioned by the three biggest duty-free retailers in Korea: Lotte, Shilla and Shinsegae, it will be located in the busiest part of the duty-free shopping area and therefore entries had to be nominated by the retailers to ensure the highest quality design.

Back in July we invited Year 9 & 10 students from across Nottingham to a design workshop to inspire young local students to get into design & architecture. The workshop ran by Scale Rule found a winning design and Leonard Design have been working with ARUP ever since to make the design a reality. Take a look at the article below in ABC&D to see the development.

Finally, the Sheffield Heart of the City II scheme is progressing very fast. The masterplan designed by Leonard Design went through a period of public consultation in September. The scheme was received extremely well and we are looking forward to moving forward with the scheme.
